Mobility in Action

Description

Mobility in Action brings together the people shaping the future of mobility infrastructure – from startups, public transport operators, infrastructure providers and city planners to industry partners, researchers, investors, policymakers and civil society.

For the fourth time in a row at ViennaUP, Community creates Mobility hosts this open-innovation pitching format, creating a hands-on space where new solutions meet practical expertise. Startups will present their ideas and receive direct, constructive feedback from those who can support real-world implementation – from operators and planners to users, experts and decision-makers.

This year, we will focus on the infrastructure layer of mobility innovation: stations, mobility hubs, interchanges, public spaces, wayfinding, safety, accessibility and charging infrastructure. Together, we will discuss how new solutions can improve the way people move through and experience mobility infrastructure. The event takes place at the ÖBB Open Innovation Factory, the innovation space of the Austrian Federal Railways – Austria’s largest mobility provider.
