Description

What does it take to bring a creative business to European scale?

Aperture is the launch of Creative Catalyst Austria, an innovation and growth pathway programme for Austrian creative businesses extending themselves beyond borders. The program is specifically designed to grow existing creative businesses beyond local markets, into European scale.

This event gives you a preview of the Creative Catalyst and the journeys it offers: from fruitful provocations, industry insights and foresight, all the way to collaboration building, networking and individual mentoring.

The morning is dedicated to talks from industry experts working at the intersection of materials and creative technology, such as industry and innovation expert Elsa Parente of Positive Materials, autonomous system expert Joanna Bakas of Frontira, Brand Developer Claudia Chmielowiec of BioFluff, as well as designer and material scientist Charles Gateau of Studio LoopLoop. They will share their perspectives and experiences on emerging shifts within Europe's creative economy, and how creative businesses can position themselves within them.

In the afternoon, the focus turns to engagement and connection with a programme partner workshop and mentoring sessions developed by Morningsloth:

For programme partners, we offer a focus session around European Funding updates and mutual exchange, led by EU funding experts Jan Vincent Jordan, and others.

For programme prospects, we offer smaller sessions with mentors of the Creative Catalyst network: coaches, investors, and industry experts working directly with them on their next steps and answering burning questions that arise. Through these sessions, participants can also learn more about current opportunities from EIT Culture & Creativity and explore how to engage with upcoming programmes and funding calls that fit their trajectories.

We kindly invite all participants to join us to a session of Boule and drinks after the event.
